Not planned but still there: Another song “Death Is Dead And We Are Free”

Another single is out: “Death Is Dead And We Are Free”. It was released yesterday. It came about by chance.

Two weeks ago, we released our Easter album “He is Risen, He’s Alive”. In seven rocking tracks, it accompanies the listener through the Easter season, from Palm Sunday to the resurrection.

Jesus‘ mission in our world was thus fulfilled: His work of redemption had been accomplished. This means that every person on this planet has the opportunity to go directly to the Father in heaven after their death and live their eternity there in the righteousness of God.

Jesus has conquered death and freed us from the bondage of sin: “Death is dead and we are free! We will live eternally”.

I couldn’t get these lines out of my head. Thus the first part of the chorus of a new song was born. Actually, no new song was planned for the near future, only a single for Pentecost.

But these lines, which express a huge truth from God, haunted me and I kept building on them. Without much effort, this song was suddenly there. We set it to music, mixed it and the finished single was born.

When my wife heard it for the first time, she exclaimed: “That’s a great song, it’s perfect for Easter!” I actually wanted to save it for the next album, but she’s right, this song is the perfect end to the Easter season.

That’s why you can listen to another song from JC audio now, during Easter week.

Thank you God for sending us Jesus. Thank you for salvation. Thank you for overcoming death once and for all. Thank you also for this song, which I believe comes directly from your spirit!
